Snow is probably one of my favorite things, hands down. My mood improves, I get giddy and giggly, and a genuinely great time is had whether I'm out walking in it, taking pictures of it or things covered in it, or playing in the stuff.
I don't, however, enjoy snow in my ears, or down my neck. Brrrr.*
For those of you with snow handy and available, make sure to find some time, whether a minute or even hours enjoying the cold, powdery goodness. Write a funny word on someone's car. Make snow angels/devils. Throw some at a friend. Throw some in the air above you and giggle as it falls down in a cloud around you. Taste it. Touch it. Smell it. Feel it.
I could probably keep going with some sort of list of things to do with/in/on/around/about snow, but papers do need to be written, sleep acquired, and dreams dreams. Still, the memories remain...
Goodnight folks. Dream of White Christmases, homecomings, love's returning, achievements unlocked, beverages sipped while still warm, blankets snuggled in, sugar plums, and the rest. Dream, and remember their songs.
