sooo today was the first day of classes, and overall it was good. The only bad thing is that my philosphy class has a section that I didn't know about, so I'm going to have to fit that in somewhere in my schedule. Hopefully there will be a time available that fits with my life.
The first class I had (Methods of Observing Human Behavior) was cool, the prof is this tiny asian lady who looks 18 and who kept laughing. Readings described as "negotiable." No midterm, no final, just field notes. Sounds good. We got out early, which meant I had time to go by the house for lunch. (food started today, GOD YES)
Then I went to work for a couple of hours. Found out I got a raise. Remembered that I heart my job at school.
Next was Evolution and the Scientific Method, which would have been satisfactory if not for the OBNOXIOUS KNOW IT ALL freshman in the class. This dumb poncho bitch kept asking questions just to make sure we all knew how well versed in evolution she was (note to that girl: nobody gives a fuck). I hate it when people do that. Like, if you legitimately have a clarification issue or an interesting point, bring it up, but don't be the only one saying stuff and don't be a show off. Those are the rules of class.
More work. Nothing to do, went online and found out how to get to the Indian neighborhood by bus so that I can get my eyebrows threaded tomorrow.
Dinner at the house...food was sooo yummy. Only bad thing is that dinner starts at 5:30 and I have class at 6, so I kind of have to eat fast, which I hate.
Class at 6, Ethics and the Environment. Prof told story about why he loves the environment. Was not worth attending, except for the fact that I saw my old roomie, she is doing good and is all crazy pre-med now. Sucks to take gen chem and physics, which is why I'm LOC.
Now it's 8:00 and I'm soooo super exhausted. I did my readings for Friday, so will probably start doing some for Monday, just cause I'm super duper overachieving like that (read: I have no life). No class until 6:30 tomorrow = yay!
And now, a shower.
