I've once again managed to get a slew of people involved in my eyebrow maintenance.
Last fall, I sent out an e-mail to my dorm asking them for waxer recommendations and a bunch of people made fun of me but a bunch MORE e-mailed me back with the same desperate inquiry and requested that I forward on any info that I recieved.
Now I am back home and I've been getting my brows waxed, but my skin is so sensitive that it gets really irritated for like 2 weeks after waxing. I'm leaving for a long weekend in Santa Monica tomorrow and I need to do something before I leave. I've decided that I want to try threading, because I just can't pluck them myself. I asked around the office, and a woman named Betty gets hers threaded by her aunt in Turlock, which is too far away to drive, but that aunt gave her a recommendation for a lady in Modesto. The place is on Yosemite though, so George, another guy at work, is like "Oh you shouldn't go there it will be shady" so he had me call his friend, Angela, to ask her where she gets hers done. Angela gets hers WAXED though, not threaded, so that wasn't really any help. Sandy just sits here and laughs at me.
I made an appointment at the threading place in Modesto, so, we'll just see how it is. I'm going to make sure and tell them I don't want my brows too thin or too far apart. And if they look bad well, my eyebrows gros really fast and plus they're really blonde so nobody but me will notice.
There is absolutely nothing to do at work, so I've spent all morning with the eyebrow saga team. If you have any suggestions for fun stuff I can do, let me know!
EDIT: Eyebrow threading gets an A+ man! It's the best...it doesn't hurt as much as waxing, and they can shape your brow way better cause they get in closer. PLUS I was not red for 6 years afterwards like I am with waxing. It was hot sex and I recommend that everyone try it!
