But as far as things are concerned, the offices seem to be set up. Though I suppose with a certain someone crying like a baby every time he needs to do fieldwork, it would be only wise to make sure we have more detectives on the clock

I need you to do a private job for me. Merely observation-- it appears that the police force is keeping itself from arresting a criminal who should be behind bars for a crime committed within the City.

I wished to know what exactly is keeping them so preoccupied that they need to have the entire police force working like this, and have no other competent officers to deal with other criminals.

They're keeping someone on the streets? What did this person do? I've been kind of out of the loop lately. I keep falling asleep at my desk.

He attacked a man who is running a perfectly legal business, accusing him of working for his own profits and benefit. It strikes me as a personal grudge more than anything, and to think he used as much power as he did to grievously injure someone who could not fight back is rather troublesome.

The police have their hands tied with whatever it is they're doing and I wish to get to the bottom of this to make sure no one else is harmed. That is why I wish to make sure we know the status of the police force before we take any action.

This is something we can make others aware of. I do not want to remain in this place and not have done something to help those who do not deserve such injustice.
