I was all responsible today.
Paid bills, had National Grid out to address the downed power lines (which turned out to be cable lines, so okay then). Attempted to get bills turned on in my name, which has to wait. Irresponsible 20 year old me has a debt to the gas company that happens to well exceed any amount of money I have right now. Responsible 27 year old me wishes I had a time machine, but that also exceeds money in the bank. Next year, next year.
I put an ad on Craigslist in the skilled trade section for someone to come out and give me an estimate for certain things. While I have a few extra bucks in the bank, I'd like this to be a first priority.
I don't want to cash in those bonds, but between the house and National Fuel (thus getting out from under Steve), I think its my best option.
And of course, if I can get a downstairs tenant, then that will greatly help my monthly income. Cart, meet horse...who wants to go first?
My roommate is super awesome, and I lucked out quite a bit there. He's quiet, respectful, early on rent, has neat friends. He's in a punk band, and I've given them the attic as practice space, which is kinda cool. There's something kinda great about living with bands...and something comforting about living with punks...especially the respectable kind, which I am learning.
I don't know if I can rightly call him a punk though. More hipster. He does the dishes.
Still losing weight. My clothes are getting big on me.
Doing a full body cleanse, and feel super good about it.
Eating well. Walking more.
