Tom's Organizational Skills!
After tonight, I will not have to write a single FUCKING paper until the last week of classes. Never mind that I have four due within less than a week of eachother at that point- that's besides the point. I feel like a real student- two years ago I would have been listing eight concerts in two weeks, each of which having different music. Jesus, why did I lose my ability to write? I blame 6:30am ramblings. The point of the story is, Thanksgiving is so soon, and despite the fact that I have been taking way too much time "for myself" these days, it is gonna be real nice to have zero obligations for 5 days. I am just going to curl up on a sofa at a coffee house and read Kafka, read about corporate campaign funding, try to read political theory, and not have to watch deadlines fly by me as I stumble over my feet trying to catch up to them. Then next semester is two Nimtz classes, families sex and children and Russian lit. Could be worse, no? I am pretty stoked that I get to take a lit class before I graduate. After all, that did used to be my favorite school subject back in the day. And I like bs literary analysis almost as much as I like bs musicological analysis.
School is boring to anyone who isn't me- I shouldn't forget this important details.
Today is Shannon's birthday!!!! Which means Palmers tonight!!!! I am not sure it is wise to drink- drinking before opening at the shop has not proven a wise decision in the past. However, I bet the crew could do with a sober cab. We'll see where my energy levels stand come 8:50 when death class ends. I wish I had a job where I could call in sick, but I just don't. C'est la vie.

That sounds pretty doable at this juncture. I guess it is still only 5 days. And I can't read in cars. And family is distracting.
One of these days I will call John. But now, off to the coffee gallery to serve people coffee. Hopefully no one will get mad at me for pointing out the fact that we have no rice crispy bars ... stupid menopausal customers, never putting themselves in the shoes of their workers. Self-absorbed bitches.
