“Rawwr! I’m a monster! I’m going to get you!” little Xander shouted as he chased Willow through the playground. She screamed in delight as her tennis shoes beat against the pavement.
“Tag! You’re it!” He yelled triumphantly as he reached out and smacked her shoulder.
Turning on her heel, she chased him back.
Xander slipped.
“You ok?” Willow asked worriedly.
Tears of humiliation formed in Xander’s eyes as Willow helped him up.
“Hey, Xander Harris is crying,” an older kid teased.
“No, he’s just got allergies!”
“Thanks, Wil” Xander whispered as the bully walked away.
“Hey, what are friends for?”
