Just tell them you are looking for work and encourage them. I guess over time just respond less and less. I hate that but have to do that from time to time with former patients and/or their families. It sucks because I do care for them but in the long run is best for them...and me.

Yeah I know. I've done this countless times, the only people I ever kept in contact with where the hosts that I worked with. They were nice guys and that situation was entirely different. But it's still sad. I really liked these people.
