More laziness
I have now discovered that I've rather ride straight over Winter Hill to and from K@C's, than to take the hill-skirting route I've been taking for years. The hill skirting route might be .2 miles longer. Oh well.
I rode around in shorts yesterday, even late on the way home. I went for a ride at lunch, destination Crate & Barrel for a new bread tin - but the Crate & Barrel had disappeared! So I had one perfect cookie instead, and then rode back to work via Tory Row and one of my expensive houses routes. There are wide shady lawns full of squill and glory-of-the-snow, which is perfect. We will definitely have to get started with that this fall. We already have haphazard crocuses in our lawn, which is looking great.
It is so beautiful out today - too bad I can't be outdoors enjoying it all day. So many people have the day off; I'm hoping this will make for an easier trip home. I'm never a fan of the drive home, though definitely a fan of home :)
