Great Weekend
Wow! I have never had such an awesome weekend! It really was a good weekend. I mean I have never really been so busy everyday of the weekend!
Starting on Friday, Evelyn planned a dinner outing with friends. It has been a while since all of us have been out together. Judy, Alan, David, and Sandy came out to enjoy the night! We first met up at Don Antonio's and then afterwards we went to the Arsenal. :-) At the Arsenal we had a couple of drinks and enjoyed each other's company. It has been at least two years at least in which we have been in the same place at the same time! :-D
Then, on Saturday after work and class, I went to a friends party all the way in Whittier. She had a rockband party! Not only was it a rockband party, but everyone had to dress up in a costume. I at first decided to go as Alicia Keyes, but that was not really me, so I decided to go as Yoko Ono! Once I got there, everyone was enjoying themselves and having a couple of drinks and playing the game of rockband! I even had a couple of shouts of Jack Daniels straight up... it was pretty interesting. There was even a competition between bands... and the prize was small shouts of vodka! I really had fun at the party and could not believe how much fun I had and I was excited to meet new people!
The next day on Sunday, I woke up early in the morning. I was pretty surprised that I actually woke up that early, but I usually get up early, so I am used to it! I tried to study for the CSET test, but somehow I just could not get myself to be motivated.
Later in the afternoon, I planned to meet up with a Fred, but I was not sure if it was going to happen. It ended up happening and we decided that we were going to see Slumdog Millionaire. I was pretty excited to see this movie with a new friend. Fred is a friend that I met at Judy and Alan's wedding and we have been wanting to get together and finally we got the chance to hang out together. The movie was at 710, but we were both hungry so we had dinner together. After dinner, we walked along the marina and just talked and saw the boats in the marina! It was a nice walk and I had a good time! It was a romantic walk and the moon was so full! Finally, at 10 pm we saw the movie and I ended up getting home at 1 am. Slumdog was a very enjoyable movie to see! The evening turned into a very nice date I did not think it would be a date but it ended up being a very enjoyable date and I learned a lot more about him and he learned a lot about me!
