Wow I just realized it's been a long time since I updated. lol
Good thing I had something cool happen to me today then I guess. ;D
Well I thought it was cool at least, you will proably say what a deewb heh...
So the new job is working out GREAT! I highly recomend working for US Cellular if you ever have the chance, its a fantasitic company with outstanding benefits and FINALLY a company that understands the common sense of treating it's employees with respect and the understanding that if you have happy people, then they in turn will generate happy customers! WOW corporate America that actually thinks.. who would have thunk it? LOL
For those that don't know, I am working at one of the customer call centers. And today we had our first mock calls. I was soo sure I was going to suck the big egg too, but shock of shocks my trainers actually singled me out as one of the best of the group with my phone style.
I am just so used to my old job where it was a small local business and we pretty much "knew" most of our customers and so it was a more relaxed phone experience when they had questions or we needed to get in touch with them. Well this had me nervious as sounding confident and professional is a big thing for USCC, understandably... well I worried I would miss that, be too connected and chatty as it were. But turns out they loved it!
And for a second very nice surprise my head trainer actually asked if I had had prior leadership experience and that he thought I should get on that track there as from what he could see I would be a great team leader as I really embody the values of the Dynamic Organization which the company operates on.
O.O
Talk about a wow moment! Only in my 2nd week and I am being encouraged to reach further in the company.... years.. YEARS it took for anyone at any other job I have had to bother to notice anyone's skills and attitude when they are at a starting position like this.
So yeah even though Auntie Flo decided to drop by in the middle of the day, it was still a pretty damn good day, hehe.
