The WoW stress test is over
I made a Night Elf Hunter. Got him to level 10, but never figured out how to get a pet. Finished a buttload of quests and explored very very little of the world. The game is beautiful. The music, the ambience, the art are just amazing. But is it fun? Hard question to answer in a test of this kind. Had I been able to group with friends on a regular basis, I'm sure I'd say yes, but as it was, I soloed for my entire time. Will I buy it when it's released? Probably not but that's only because I've been burned in the past by EQ and CoH.
Think I'll leave it installed...just in case.
In other news, I'm watching Star Wars: Empire of Dreams on A&E, the truncated version of the making of documentary from the upcoming DVD release. Most of it is stuff I already knew, but it was very cool to see the screen tests of the folks who did not get cast and to see story elements in their early forms (i.e. Sullust before RotJ).
Sleepy, though. Hope I can make it to the end.
