Books that i've read and am going to read this summer...

• Diamond in the Window Jane Langton
  Yay for transcendentalists! A fantastic book that everyone should read.

• A Great and Terrible Beauty Libba Bray
  I just finished this one yesterday and I'm already anticipating the supposed sequel.

• The Game Laurie R. King
  EEEE! I was at the book store today and almost pissed myself when I saw this. The newest of a series about Mary Russell and her partner Sherlock Holmes. NOT another cheap Holmes rip-off.

• Slaughter House Five Kurt Vonnegut
  My dad says that one must read this book to be a responsible member of the liberal population.

• Cat's Cradle Kurt Vonnegut
  At Laura's recommendation.

• Villa Incognito Tom Robbins
  I picked it up this morning and the first sentence caught my eye. Authors usually pride themselves on their "eye-cathcer." Well this certainly caught my eye...
  It is reported that Tanuki fell from the sky using his scrotum as a parachute.

• Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim David Sedaris
  If you haven't read any of David Sedaris' books you should. He's a fantastic and hilarious writer.
