[The feed goes quiet, and then completely shuts off. Ten or fifteen minutes go by without any reply from Negi at all, but then...
Negi knocks lightly on Ciel's door, pushing it open just enough to make sure that he's inside. Once he confirms this, he heads straight for Ciel, wrapping his arms around him tightly, not intent on letting go just yet, but not entirely forceful.]

But. Even if he would verbally deny it, it would be a lie to say he hadn't been leaning into it slightly, head dipping down to hide his face and just... sit there. Negi was really warm.

After a minute, Negi pulled back, offering Ciel a soft, kind smile. He leaned up, just a bit, and pressed his lips a bit timidly against Ciel's forehead. "You're not alone, Ciel. I don't...I don't know what was happening in what it showed on the television just now, but...you're not alone here. Okay?"
