Hurra Torpedo!
There was a post on ONTD Prime that featured the Glee cover for Total Eclipse of the Heart. I can tolerate it, but I had to chime in with my ALL-TIME FAVOURITE cover of Total Eclipse of the Heart, the version by The Dan Band:
Someone responded with a video by some Norwegian band named Hurra Tornado, where the instrumentation consisted of an electric guitar and pounding on household appliances. (Video NSFW if your work does not approve of buttcracks and simulated intercourse with/violence against household appliances.)
My brain auto-corrected by sprinkling the song with profanities, Dan Band-style, but still, I've since gotten sucked in and watched their covers of All the Things She Said and Toxic. Those long Norwegian winters... they do weird yet awesome things to humans...
