I was looking at the rules page for the Anime Expo Battle of the Bands. They won't allow professionals---which makes sense. For the most part, the rules make sense. However, they seemed to have forgotten another thing:

They don't require that any of the band members have to be registered Anime Expo attendees.

p.s. BTW, Nat, I was wrong, you left your melons in my trunk (honeydew and cantaloupe).
