Miles update
Miles is home from the hospital. The initial CAT scan had shown a large stone that just wasn't there when they scoped him and couldn't have passed in the time between procedures.
Came close to hunting down and killing docs. We were told that if his white cell count was back to normal he could go home. Well we found out his count was fine by 0600 and couldn't get anyone to discharge him until 1600 despite the fact they WEREN'T DOING ANYTHING TO HIM! No more antibiotics, no more tests. We were just paying for a hospital bed for him to sleep in. As I had only had about 3 hours of very uncomfortable sleep in a chair in the past 40 hours I was damn near homicidal at this waste of our time and especially our money.
Miles still has to have a repeat CAT scan as well as an ultrasound outpatient to check for a possible cyst they saw, but he is home and pain-free.
