If you are still interested in Oberlin, then that is good that you sent back in the card. Send them you latest grades, and if you have no visited Oberlin yet, then you should visit during the month of April. Best of luck,
Curtis

I think that last year they took 30 students off the wait list.

I wouldn't worry about seeming overzealous - they WANT people to demonstrate enthusiasm for the school. If you can, keep in contact with the admissions office (if you interviewed with someone, contact them just to say hi) and definitely submit extra recs, transcripts, anything that you think could possibly help. Good luck!

Agreed - you have to be a real nut to put admissions people off. Like, bribe and blackmail. Like, showing up at their house or something. Also, I hear the fruit baskets and things like submitting your essay written on a sneaker to be "unique" don't help that much.

Extra stuff can't hurt you. No one's forcing them to read/look at it.

I was in the same position last year. I got on off the waitlist early in May I think. I sent in my grades, another recommendation, and a letter to whoever the dean of admissions is expressing why they should definately bother to let me in.

Good luck! Oberlin has been a fantastic experience thus far.

Yeah, I know plenty of people who got in off the wait list. You should be fine.
