For the people who are...
I'd just like to make it clear here, that I am, in fact, still alive. I've never been very good at keeping a journal because 1) I'm just not consistent enough, 2) I never have very much to say, 3) who would notice in particular if I didn't post? But in case anyone should be wondering, yes I am still alive.
I've been very busy lately, working on my translating and such. I think I'm actually starting to learn more complex things, slowly but surely. My speaking still isn't great, but I like to think my comprehension is pretty good, especially considering I've only been studying... Hmm... 15 months now, just about. My current project is an excerpt from a novel. Problem is it's very formal and well, literary, using passive left and right, 3 times per sentence. It gets very troublesome, especially when I have very little practice with such forms.
Things I've accomplished:
- my Anime Lyrics page
- a game trailer I translated/subtitled (watch in HQ!)
- Sakura no Ichiban! act 8 - A full manga chapter I translated, with a little help. I'm currently working on act 11 of the same series, plus a chapter of another manga. If you're a lazy bum you can also read it on One Manga.
I've done some other things as well, but I feel that those are the most presentable at the moment. =]
