am i the only one conviced that the summer never happened?
because we definitely had two months(ish) off, and after just one day back i would probably believe you if you told me that i imagined all that. it feels exactly the same. gahhhhh.
it wasn't a bad day, though. i like my classes, for the most part- my schedual today was DR, French (death), DR, Video and Media (with Sweeny!! yay!!), Calc (thank goodness for Bridgers enthusiasm- i love him already), and English. The DRs sucked cause i had nothing to do, but i'll be so happy for them once the year gets going-- plus, it means getting to come in late once we get senior priviledges. wooooohoooo :D I tried to get out of AP French, because i can tell just from today that it's going to be a lot of stress that i don't really want to deal with, but there's no other class to put in that period and the likelihood of my parents signing off on that one is slim to none. plus, it looks bad on the college app, etc etc etc. basically, get ready for some fuuuuuun, cause that class is going to kill me. (the teacher seems nice, though, just not Witzburg the amazing.) i'm scared for physics tomorrow morning- i think i was being a liiiiittle bit optimistic when i decided that i could handle that one- but whatever. i'm actually really excited about calc, the teacher is awesome and so excited about teaching it all to us. and english will be fun because it's english.
and we're finally SENIORS! it feels kinda wierd, but really fun, and being able to drive is the best thing *ever*. its probably not going to be a good thing that i'm now in control of when i get to school, because i'm so bad at getting up in the morning... but the idea of never getting on one of those big yellow busses again is amazing. plus, as much as i don't want to *apply* to colleges, i can't wait for the end of the year when we're all deciding where to go and all that. basically, i <3 being a senior.
in other news, purchase and sale has been signed, which means we move in at the end of this month! (day before my birthday, to be exact.) granted, first we need to paint/fix the heating/give me a floor. it'll be fun though :-D crew come early this year.
