Well, hubby and I made it to Main Street in Austin last night!
We were running late, and I was afraid that we would not be able to get tickets, but we were able to slip in.
And I'm so glad that we did!

So is this movie out now everywhere? Or is it just going to play in select places, or what?

So far it is only being shown at film festivals.
I don't think that they have a distributor yet.

Thanks for the review! I sure hope it gets a distributor and soon. I'm dying to see it.

Thanks for going and reporting! How is it that movies get financed and filmed without a distributor in place? Makes no sense to me.

Thank-you so much for this review. It is well written and gives just the right amount of info. In addition to being a fan of Orlando and Colin, I love Patricia and Ellen. Also, I live near Durham and am eager to see how the sites where they filmed show up in the movie. Your opinions on the accents are really encouraging, and your mention of his haircut showing off Orlando's eyes - whoa, I had not thought of that!

Thanks again and congrats on getting to see it.

OOOO I would love to see this!! Thank you so much for the update. <3

tell me-is his character Drew-ish? I kind of pictured it would be, and I'm not sure that worked out so well. I mean, I liked it, but then again I'm not very objective when it comes to him. :-)

No, not Drew-ish at all, IMO.

He was more 'normal' than Drew. More balanced and logical, not a pie in the sky dreamer.

*tries not to give away too much*
He is a young man, living at home, struggling to placate his clingy, desperate mother, while trying to make himself good enough for a young woman who is attracted to successful men.
He knows what it will take to win her attention, so he goes about getting it done, all the while denying (to himself at least) that he is doing it for a girl. THE girl, I should say.

I liked his character in this film. He doesn't show off his looks like he did as ♥ Drew ♥, but his role here is not to be the pretty boy. It's to be an 'everyman' in every sense of the word. BUT THOSE EYES! GAH!

See....I'm not very objective about the man, either. :)
