Marc Warren? Yes, please!

I went to see Land of the Blind yesterday. There was no one interesting actually present besides the director but that was quite alright. The film itself was very ambitious but, in my opinion, not fantastically executed. I thought Donald Sutherland was excellent but both Ralph Fiennes and Tom Hollander didn't really blow me away in their ( Read more... )

Aww, Tom... (and Mr. Warren looks fine too!)

Now I'm confused. On IMDB, Tom's character is called President and there was that fancy pic of him all dressed up with guards. So he just makes films on the side? I guess it works. (for some reason I just got all curious about this film...)

Yes, his character is Maximillian II (aka 'Junior'), the President. But he's the son of Maximillian I, so he's basically inherited the position from his dad and he's a bit of a shithead to boot. Sounds familiar?? However, the director wrote the script in 2001 so he had a bit of foresight there.

Junior is a film fanatic and spends most of his time directing cheezy films while he lets his advisors make the State decisions. However, classic scene of empowerment 2 seconds after that photo of him and the two tall guys I posted earlier. The lesson is 'don't mess with Junior' :D

I think I will to steal that icon of yours... damn that I only have space for 6 icons.

As a Tom fan, you HAVE to see this. There are lots of funny photos of him in it as a montage and there's this kinky sex play scene in it as well. Really, a bit more than you bargained for :D

Ooh! I'm all up for kinky sex play funny photos!

(it would appear from your icon situation that your TomLove is growing these days? Perhaps a result of all that hip thrusting action?? ;))

The last few weeks were very high on the Tom factor. Normally I squee about Rufus all the time and Tom most of the time but Rufie's had a few quiet weeks of being boring so my attention got redirected for a bit. We'll see how it pans out when Rufus gets back to being fabulous. Of course, with the reading and seeing him in person, I did have another helping of the Tomlove but it was pretty solid to begin with.
