New squee
I have found a new object for my squee.
After dreaming about James McAvoy doing a scene for Casualty I decided to watch it last night. Darling James wasn't in it, but it wasn't a total loss. The former drug-addict who'd been shot in the leg was pretty damn squee-worthy. It took me a while to realize he also played Percy Bysshe Shelley in the BBC documentary about the Romantics, what with that oxygen mask hiding his face half the time.
I am writing, of course, of Blake Ritson.
Apparently noticing him takes repeated viewing, because I'd already seen him in The League of Gentlemen several years ago.
He also does voice work. Or is available for it, anyway. This site and this one (scroll down) have him listed. Apart from pictures, the websites have voice samples. Though I have to admit spending more time looking than listening, so I don't know if he has a nice voice.
