Yay! There was a time when I used to think Hugh Dancy was all curls and eyes and scuplted chin and Burberry overcoat etc and that was it (and quite sufficient, thank you very much) but man was I wrong. He was superb in Journey's End. Angst ridden and brave and numbed by too much booze and war. And now he's done this complete u-turn. I've just come back from The Jane Austen Book Club (with Dancylicious Q&A) and he is shockingly funny (I mean, who would have thought?!) and just ridiculously charming (plus, I'm always impressed when Brits do a good American accent). Hugh has become such a good actor imo. Can we please clone him because I want my own.
