Post-production has begun on the upcoming film The Escapist (not to be confused with the 2001 film of the same title), about an incarcerated man attempting to (wait for it) escape from prison in order to reconcile with his ailing, estranged daughter. The film stars Brian Cox in the lead role, but more importantly, also co-stars darling sqeemen Steven Mackintosh, Dominic Cooper, Damian Lewis and Joseph Fiennes. IMDb writes that "much of the action takes place within the tunnels, sewers and underground rivers of subterranean London," which explains why it was filmed in Dublin (just kidding. I actually think any city that inspired the birth of Guinness beer just 17 short kilometers away deserves its own pope).
