You know what would be totally lulzy, you guys? If we showed a presidential candidate "thanking" Osama bin Laden in our "comedy" segment that we run about nine times a day. For maximum hilarity, it should be one who's been dogged by rumors that he's secretly a Muslim terrorist!
Wouldn't it be terrible if anybody complained (politely) about this Jeanne Moos piece entitled "Pointed Gestures?" It's just so hilarious when a news network crosses these lines! What means "inappropriate?"
Nobody would accuse me of being eager to defend Hillary, but that part was also vile, and really, Monica jokes? How edgy and topical, in the late nineties. If anybody doesn't want to write or doesn't find it that offensive, that's fine, but I seem to have lost my sense of humor about this kind of crap. I'm so glad these morons are in charge of the next debate, I can't even tell you. Oh yay, maybe Blitzer will ask about the dream ticket again!
