I live in Ohio, I'm pregnant with my first child, I'm due on March 2, and my husband and I are both intense Obama supporters.
So I've got this crazy fantasy that I'll go into labor late on the evening of the 3rd, but I'll hold off going to the hospital until the polls open on the morning of the 4th so I can go vote first. It ends up that I waited too long though, and instead of making it to the hospital I have her right there at the polling station. The Cincinnati Enquirer gets the story, and writes a big article up in the paper, and I get to make a statement about how I waited because I feel so passionately about supporting Obama, and that I'd do it again in an instant to make sure I got to cast my vote for him.
So then his campaign guys get wind of the article, and he comes down to meet with me for some publicity shots. I get a picture taken with him and my new daughter, maybe they print another article in some national news, and the story is so great that it sways some independant voters to support a candidate that can inspire that much fervor.
Hey, a girl can hope!
