Someone in my graduate English program just forwarded that awful "Who is Barak Obama?" email! This person is working on her PhD and teaches Professional Writing!!
So I answered with a plea to please actually check that crap out before forwarding it, and then followed with this:
"Now, if you are looking for a presidential candidate to be truly alarmed over, may I direct your attention to Mike Huckabee, who wants to change the Constitution to meet "God's standards":
"I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution. But I believe it’s a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living God. And that’s what we need to do is amend the Constitution so it’s in God’s standards rather than trying to change God’s standards so it lines up with some contemporary view of how we treat each other and how we treat the family."

(One of the Muslim students in the program just responded that he considers the email hate speech and is going to make an official complaint.)
