I won't likely get into this pose for years yet:
Side Crane/Crow Pose. But today I tried anyway. I didn't fall over, but I was pretty sure I was going to dislocate my elbow if I tried too hard.
Oh, yeah, and
Handstands. Also not happening for a while, but it was fun trying.
Both of these poses require way more core strength than I have at the moment.
We also did this breath work today that involved sucking our stomachs into our chests (or trying our best anyway) and now my ribs hurt.
I talked to the (substitute) instructor who used to work at Shakti yoga in Ballard and she said that if I could keep up with her today, I could probably launch into the intermediate classes there.
