"Wisconsin Classic Sheep Sale"

As opposed to those modern, newfangled sheep you get nowadays?

On the first glance at the url I read it as wisconsin sheep and wolf festival. That would certainly be interesting.

would it be possible for you to meet us at my place? if not we can swing by and pick you up. to let you know in advance, I thought I was going sans baby, but N just found out he has to work overtime this saturday, so I need to take the babe with us. the car seat just makes the back seat a bit cramped, but it should be a relatively short drive.

E's going to yoga early, so I could get dropped off early (8:30-ish), or I could walk, or you could get me. What time?

Yay, baby! I make a good baby-holder sometimes.

if you could get dropped off it would be easier, and 8:30 would be fine. cool!

What kind of wool do they have? I saw the pictures, and they look a lot like Shetlands. Is the wool similar to Shetland? How much is your mom charging for it?

tchemgrrl and I will be attending, so perhaps we'll see you there! Anything in particular we should look for? I've never been.

this will be my first time too, so all I'm expecting is way too much temptation to buy all the yarn there. lynnal has been to other festivals, but not this one. I am planning on only taking a set amount of cash (especially since I just made a big knitpicks order), and have been ordered by N to only use that--no checkcard, no creditcard (the guy's smart, what can I say). lynnal did say the sheepdog demos are pretty entertaining.

my hair is blue now, so hopefully we will spot each other there at some point.

I forget -- do you spin? I hadn't planned on starting, but I'm sure the cheap drop spindles and pretty pretty roving will do their best to entice me.
