2nd VP

Filling out my application for nomination for 2nd vice president of student council. Fun times. It's the event coordinator position, which should be fun ... just the questions that they ask ...

What qualities and experience do you possess that would qualify you for this position?
(I don't think "gay" counts.)

What goals do you have for your time in office if you are elected?
(To have the class parties not blow massive massive chunks and for people to actually go to said parties)

Why are you the best candidate for this position?
(Once again, GAY ... also, because I'm the only one RUNNING for it since it entails tons of work to the tune of $5000 for the entire year, the same stipend as the fucking Treasurer, who does nothing.)

All the actual answers to the questions; however, I don't think they would be particularly well-received. I know this seems like an entirely moot point as I am the only person running for the position, but I actually still need to be elected by a 2/3 vote, so I can't completely blow it off. Also, how arrogant are those questions? It's like asking someone, "Why are you better than everyone else?" Asking for qualifications, yes. Forcing someone to behave either like a complete dick or a total sap, not okay. Ugh. I know I'm going to settle for the latter, but I would prefer not to have to conjure false admissions just to make a good impression. To quote Bobby Fischer when asked why he said he was the best chess player in the world, "It's nice to be modest, but it's stupid not to tell the truth."
