Comics/Manga You Read:

- Batman and Son by Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert
- Who Is Wonder Woman? By Allan Heinberg, Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson
- JLA: Salvation Run by Matthew Sturges, Bill Willingham, Sean Chen and Walden Wong
Anime You Watched:
- Tales of Phantasia (Beautiful character designs, near-incomprehensible story)
- Kakurenbo: Hide and Seek (OMFGWTFBBQ! Watch this. It takes less than half an hour but it’s creepy as hell and will stick to your brain like the white bobbles that used to be the tissue you left in your pocket when you put your jeans in the washer-dryer)
- Cencoroll (One fellah made this. I just … have no words. Well, I do. WATCH!)
- Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror (Style over substance, but SO PWETTY IT MAKES ME ABUSE CAPSLOCK AND BAD SPELLING LIEK WHOA!)
- Fate Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (Do not watch before seeing the series, as this is an alternative universe version of events with far more blood, guts, gore, vein-wine, organ claret, red stuff, gooshy bits and … you get the picture. Although I have to admit, it’s incredibly well animated and pretty gooshy gore … which is something I never thought I’d ever say).
Things You Ate:
- Tinned Sprouts (I like sprouts. I do not like tinned sprouts. It was hours ago and the house still smells like farts)
- Tinned peas and carrots mix (I was late home from work and full of cold germs. I didn’t feel like cooking. Yes, I regret not making the effort now)
- Smoked trout (Lidl does nice fish, no matter how Frankie Boyle seems to want to burn all its stores on the grounds of elitism and economy-brand-haggis)
- Apple (bit my own tongue while attempting to breathe and chew at the same time - owie)
- Just-add-water cappuccino (very nice … IF I COULD’VE FRIGGIN’ TASTED IT!)
People You Saw:
- Mother
- Father
- Dog (yes, she counts)
- Fellow dog walkers braving the drizzle
- Fellow commuters cursing the inimitable inanities of British motoring (a speed camera that gets you as you’re trying to accelerate up a hill, ten seconds after you left a 60mph zone to enter a 30mph zone, and five seconds after you passed the house with the suicidal cat that ALWAYS runs out when it spots you approaching).
