(no subject)
* After living at Casa De Muerte (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=59233077) for the past 2 years, our shady landlords have asked us to leave. They decided to take all the money we have been paying them under the table to live there and put a pool in the back yard, and as soon as construction is finished on the pool, they would like to move back in. So, we are moving. We checked out a place that is actually 3 blocks from us (and also has a pool in the backyard), and unless our credit report comes back really bad, we have it. So we got that going on. I'll post pics of whatever place we end up moving in to.
* My band recorded some tracks last weekend. Some sound really good, some sound not as good. We are going to record again, more seriously, in June i believe.
* Also in band news, my band (www.katiethepest.com) recently got invited to attend a meeting with John Cargill the founder and owner of Secretly Canadian Records (bands include Antony and the Johnsons, Danielson, Songs: Ohia, Magnolia Electric Co., Damien Jurado, etc.) to talk about perhaps joining his label. The meeting was nice and fun and good and we got on really well. Hopefully in the new future we will be a member of the secretly canadian family.
* I love Chipotle and don't mind too much that it is owned by McDonalds.
* I got promoted to day shift at work. I work Monday through Friday from 11am to 6-7pm. It is pretty awesome and im finally able to sleep at night again after working graveyards for 2 years.
* I made a killer salad for lunch today! yesssss!
* The Red Sox swept the hell out of the yankees last weekend and got 4 homeruns in a row!
* Does any one else watch Entourage? Most of my roomates and I are sooo happy it is back on. That is pretty much the only show that is still on air that i tune into each week. I like that they skipped forward in time, but im still a little bummed that they fired Ari. It is still awesome and Drama makes me laugh with everyword that he says, i just wish Vince and Ari could make nice again, i miss Ari and Eric fighting with each other.
