Mike Wallace interviews Aldous Huxley, 18th May, 1958. Aldous Huxley was apparently either a time traveler or could see 50 years into the future. I promise you this interview is worth your full attention.

You mean technology can be abused, REALLY? I am going to have to use the "all technology is morally neutral" quote sometime in the future. It sums up how I feel about guns. This interview was fascinating though, thanks for sharing and I'm glad someone else is on the same wavelength about our current state of affairs.

By all means please read the book, but if you're pressed for time the SciFi channel mini-series featuring Leonard Nimoy is far less nuanced but hits most of the high points. Sadly, I can't seem to find it on DVD.

I definitely enjoyed that interview (enough that I proceeded to forward it to several friends and my dad). Thanks for posting it. Makes me think that I might not be being entirely paranoid in raving the way I do about the things I do.
