ONE First and most importantly... it's 30 days until my 21st birthday! :D It hasn't even sunk in yet that I'm twenty, and the year just went by in a flash. I feel like I'm gonna blink, and before I know it I'll be middle-aged. O_O I feel like my life is moving too quickly for me to actually live it

Most people on the Knoll do agree that he wasn't TCO, and I love the idea he broke the show - apart from what it could mean for his career prospects. The one thing that I keep questioning though is why they let him win when they were so desperate for Adam. Or was it just the judges that needed Adam to win, and TPTB weren't that fussed in the end. Apart from Taylor, TCO always wins, and even in that case Taylor became acceptable TCO by the finale... I think if the votes had been close they would have claused Kris and gotten an Adam win, which makes me think he won by a lot.
I'm assuming at this point that Kris, Danny and Adam were getting the top votes over the season and I think if a) the bussing of Kris had been more subtle in Rock Week, and b) most importantly Scream On hadn't happened, Kris could have gone that week (though I still think his fanbase was bigger than Allison's). Not by giving up but just through the inner-workings of the show. But he was helped by Danny that week. Obviously the plan for T3 was to bus Kris and leave a Danny/Adam T2 --> Adam easily winning. But then Heartless happened and if they'd bussed him after that they would have a) riled up even more voters and b) lost every last shred of credibility. As it happened everyone was talking about Kris and Heartless after that, he picked up f**kloads of casual voters and I think was ahead of Adam that week by 1m. Taking that into the final, I don't see how he could have lost. Unless TPTB decided he had to.
I wrote on TWoP that it felt like watching Titanic and the boat not sinking. It's not the ending you were told was coming and it makes no sense, no matter how ecstatic you are. We spent week after week worrying that Kris would go out. He wasn't expected to get this far, and everytime someone else left before him it was a huge step forward. But after all that I can't get rid of that nervous feeling of 'can he survive another week'. It's surreal. Funnily enough I realised before the final that every time I've been really invested in a reality/talent tv contestant they've won. So this shouldn't be so strange. But I've never cared this much, with so little expectations. I still can't process it all. It's been amazing though and I'm so glad I watched this season. <3
sorry for the essay - it's Sunday evening, Kris has destroyed all TV for me and I'm bored
