I'm supposed to leave the house at 6:30 tomorrow (which means I have to be up by 5:30), but I can't go offline without commemorating this awesome night. February 8, 2009: Epic Plurking Night. ♥

It started innocently enough. Lorraine was boggled with her OB assignment. Arvin posted when he got back from dinner. I mentioned my hyper dog. And suddenly we all simultaneously exploded and word-vomited all over Plurk. Literally. We had a marathon conference/hiritan/kulitan/asaran/chismisan session that lasted for more than three hours. I don't know exactly what triggered it, but I guess it was sort of kismet that we were all online at the same time, and had basically the same energy levels? Heh. But we just typed and replied and posted and went... sort of crazy. At some points, Plurk's bandwith was having trouble accommodating all of us in our frenzy. Here, have a taste of a little of the epic-ness:

I just screen-capped random parts of the most epic Plurks, and decided to share them here. (Click on the picture for some details.)

We covered ten million different topics, talked over each other, interrupted, criticized each other's spelling and typos, brought up some priceless ancient history. Heh. I just spent the whole night laughing. So, so, so much fun. Just like spending an afternoon in the front lobby with various Pisay batchmates. Or maybe one of those great mIRC sessions on #06 that I miss so much (aww lara`lara). It was a little nostalgic, but mostly it was so incredibly hilarious and relaxing. The best form of stress relief that I can think of. :)

All good things come to an end, and this one did right before midnight. We dropped off one by one, starting with Kaye (when she decided to text instead of Plurk), then Francis, then Marianne. Then Michi made the mistake of mentioning Carpal-Tunnel Syndrome, and I think that got everybody down. LOL, I'm kidding. But yeah, we sort of just stopped after that. Now we're off to our different worlds once again. Some of us are going to sleep, more are off to accomplish what they've put off doing all night, and I'm here typing this entry up. I like to think that this night has changed something in all of us, trite as that may sound. We're all... a little bit different from the people we were just a few short hours ago, before this whole thing started.

Michi, Kaye, Marianne, Jman, Ron, Arvin, Lorraine - this was so, so, so much fun. I hope we can do it again sometime but even if we don't (or can't), I will always remember this. (Cheesy!) I love you guys. Like.

(lol)(rofl)(heart)(dance)
