i watched High School Musical 2 when it aired on the Disney Channel last Sunday. FINALLY!!! i'd been waiting for it for a long time -- i didn't want to download it, i didn't want to watch it on a pirated DVD. there's something about delayed gratification, and watching a kids' movie on DC, with all the commercials. :P
can i just say? i loved it. :D i am just the biggest sucker for this kind of feel-good, is-there-really-a-point?, cheesy stories about (very) pretty kids that sing and dance. to this day, i cannot understand exactly why i enjoy this whole HSM thing so much, why i like the songs, and why i just keep watching the movies over and over... but i just let myself have fun. it's happy. :) i don't care if the movie has no real message, and it has no contribution whatsoever to my deeper understanding of life. it's FUN, meant to be enjoyed as it is, and you really can't expect anything beyond its plastic characters and cheesy storylines and hilariously pop-y songs.
i'm so glad i waited for it on DC. and i'm so glad that i gave in to the urge to buy the DVD when i saw it in Philcoa. XD here's to another solid month of pure, solid cheese on my player, and on repeat in my head.

okay so kakagaling ko lang sa 2nd lab exam ng Bio11. :P all those words (plus a lot, LOT more -- 24 frog muscles along with their corresponding OIA, plus the skeleton and histology) are still floating around in my consciousness. @_@ it's actually pretty disturbing just how well i can memorize things, if i only put my mind to it. thing is, i really can't let them go away completely, because i still have to take the finals this October. :(
at first i thought i did pretty well in the exam, but after discussing it with several classmates, parang andami ko palang mali. i guess i'll know when we get the results next week. all i know is i did my best, i studied EXTREMELY hard, and i think i'm fine with just that. :)

i have tried to not let myself get excited over Grey's Anatomy S4 (SEPTEMBER 27!!!!), but Ellen and Patrick are so cute, and i love them and i miss them, and despite all the badness, i still really want to know what happens to them. maybe maybe maybe they'll get fixed. maybe. and because i really can't resist The McDreamy, i will still (grudgingly) download every episode, and i will watch every week. i hope it wouldn't suck as badly as it did in Season 3. :(
there's also new Heroes (PETEEEER! HIROOOOOO! HRG! *plus many others*) on September 24, which is always exciting; and Bones on September 25 (with its awesome S2 gag reel HAHA) and Prison Break on September 17 (NEXT WEEK NA PALA), which i really really hope won't disappoint. and there's also FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS (October 5) OMG! best show ever. ♥
