Thursday was fun. :) we spent hours just chilling and eating and fooling around at Gateway, celebrating Michi's 18th. it was so good to catch up with people, and spend time in an air-conditioned place. :P KFC + Razon's = love.

Friday was a huge relief. i went straight home after Math class, took a much-needed bath, flopped on my parents' bed and slept for 4 hours that afternoon. (apparently i missed a phone call, but i can't bring myself to care about that. not anymore. not after spending the past couple of months in a detente with you.) i got up for dinner at around 10PM, watched some TV (kind of glad that i didn't miss the ending of Sana Maulit Muli) and fell asleep again a couple hours after PBB.

last week was so exhausting, there are no words. it felt like an eternity, a sort of hell where you were bombarded with three or four new Calculus concepts every couple hours. and today is an extension of that hell, or just a prelude to another week of hell, because today i have to spend the afternoon INTEGRATING. just integrating over and over and over, filling pages and pages of scratch paper with senseless numbers and variables, just so i have a tiny bit of hope in getting a decent Math54 grade. how fun. >:(

i am so tempted to just let myself be the naturally delinquent student that i am, curl up and just watch some more Supernatural or read CSI:NY fanfic. but no. i have to have really lofty dreams about ending up in PGH, and i really really have to work on that. damn this dream, sometimes.

it's days like these when wish i was already there, suffering with the rest of the Intarmed crazies. at least i don't have to worry about getting in anymore.

suddenly i'm becoming part of your past
i'm becoming the part that [doesn't] last
i'm losing you and it's effortless

new Heroes in a couple days! \:D/ woohoo, the torrent will be up by Tuesday night i hope, and i'll be able to watch it by Wednesday afternoon. yaaaaaay! :)

so.. do i wait for the pirated Friday Night Lights DVD to come out (hmm, meron kayang mamimirata nu'n?), or just download all the episodes?

But this was the sense, not forgotten either then or later: that precisely because the Lager was a great machine to reduce us to beasts, we must not become beasts; that even in this place one can survive, and therefore one must want to survive, to tell the story, to bear witness; and that to survive we must force ourselves to save at least the skeleton, the scaffolding, the form of civilization. We are slaves, deprived of every right, exposed to every insult, condemned to certain death, but we still possess one power, and we must defend it with all our strength for it is the last - the power to refuse our consent.
