Marty is doing his best to be cheerful as he packs up the last of his belongings. Packing is a relative term as he seems to be dragging out the process as much as possible.

A few hours before she knew Marty had to leave, Angela showed up at his door.

She was carrying a large and possibly goofy bouquet of red and orange roses.

"Hey."

"Hey," Marty said standing up with a goofy grin at the roses. "I'm guessing those are for me?"

"They're kind of the silliest gift every," Angela fretted. "I mean, you have to take them on the plane, and I'm not sure you can keep them in water, and ... I just didn't know what to do." She managed a smile of her own. "It looks like you're almost done packing."

"Almost," Marty agreed and only having eyes for his girlfriend. "And as for the roses? Well I'll by a second ticket for the plane if I have to."

Angela blushed. "That's incredibly sweet."

She wasn't sure she wanted to talk about the roses more. "What tiime is yoour flight?"

"Last flight out of Alexandria," Marty replied his grin faltering a little. "Eleven PM. I guess I wanted to maximize my time here."

Then: "I'm glad that we have a couple hours."

"I can't bear to leave someone in particular," Marty said simply after swallowing the catch in his throat.

Angela sniffled and wrapped him in a hug. "Thank you," was all she could say. "you know how much I love you."

"Same here," Marty said getting choked up as his fingers played with her hair. "And I'll figure out a way to see you. You're not getting rid of me that easily."
