The whole crew did the whole usual "meeting up in the lobby" thing before then doing the "hike into the woods" thing and followed it up with the "pitching of the tent" thing.

So far no one had realized the "OMGWTFNOBATHROOM?" thing.

They'd burn that bridge when they came to it.

After leaving the tent, Angela finds a quiet path, with spring flowers and trees lining each side. "Want to take a walk?" she calls.

"Noooo! Bigfoot," Marty said laughing. "Though Alien meerkats would be quite the find. I've never been out here in the woods have you?"

Angela shook her head. "Not at all. They're really dense for such a small island."

She grinned. "Bigfoot, huh? Didn't you write a thing about him for Grissom?"

"I did, but it felt incomplete. Hopefully I didn't fail his class totally. I feel like I missed so much stuff while I was gone. I'm surprised I even passed US Government."

"I blew one test," Marty admitted. "It was right after we broke up and honestly I could have cared less how I did. Then the whole disappearing act of mine happened and... well you know."

Marty sighed. "But I got a B- from Lyman somehow. I'm just absolutely amazed I did."

"You know that whole breakup thing, in January? Dumbest thing I have ever done, and I have done many dumb things," Angela told him. "It made sense at the time, but I'm sorry it happened."

She paused and leaned up to kiss him. "At least we have now. And I'm sure you earned that B-."

"I'm all about the now," Marty said as he leaned down and to give Angela a kiss.

As he did he caught a flash of teal as from the corner of his eye.

"Do you see what I see?" he said nodding his head in a certain direction.

Angela kissed him back. "Now is nice," she said.

Then she straightened her head. "I think so." Lowering her voice, she added, "Should we follow?"

"Sure. Be vewy vewy quiet though... we don't want to scare it," Marty said vewy vewy quietly as he carefully followed after the shy little animal that was cute beyond words.

"Are we hunting wabbits?" Angela asked, under her breath, as they followed the teal deer into a clearing.

She squeezed Marty's hand hard. "Look. Three of them."

"Wow," Marty breathed just staring at the deer. "Three. I thought you said that they were almost extinct."

"They are," Angela said. "I mean, that's what Zero told me."

She watched them keenly as they grazed. "They're the color of blue jello. It's weird."
