almost perfect?

i was walking to class this morning in the rain. grant and i have gone through awkwardness the past few days, i don't know why. but i haven't seen him since friday night. anyways, collide came on my ipod and for some reason i decided to listen to it, even though i wasn't really in the mood. i had to walk all the fuckin way to frieze, so i was going up state street- which i hate because there's a million cross walks. anyway, i stopped for the light and i was pretty much just looking at the ground like usual. but i looked up and saw grant on the other side of the street and it was obvious he hadn't seen me yet. but the moment i saw him, he noticed me and we both kind of waved and just started smiling. i swear to god it was like straight out of a movie or something, with the music, and the rain, and the not really being on good terms for a while.

we didn't even say much in the cross walk except some comment about the rain, but i forgot about how much i was dreading my comm discussion. and now i know the rest of my day is going to be pretty much amazing, and the rest of this week.. it's the small things that really matter.
