Fundraising
I always suck at fundraising. I have since I was a child and schools made you sell candy to raise money.
But if I don't advertise I am fundraising then I really won't raise any money will I. :)
I have two things coming up. I was first only doing Aids Walk Los Angeles which ghostgirl13 made me aware of several years ago. But then I noticed on one of my cousin's facebook page that he is doing the Alive and Running 5K Run/Walk for Suicide Prevention on 9/27. My cousin Johnny killed himself a couple years ago. He was a bright and creative young man who got me hooked on Garfield as a kid and probably influenced my love of cartoons. He had a long life ahead of him that was tragically cut short. So I donated some money to my other cousin who is running and joined the Johnny Lynch team he created to walk in his memory and hopefully help out the Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services.
You can donate here if you can afford too. Although I understand times are tough and would also just appreciate your support by spreading the word to help if you can.
Later on October 18th I will be participating in Aids Walk Los Angeles with ghostgirl13 and millietheghoul .

Alive and Running is a minimum of $15 to donate online and Aids Walk is $25. If you'd like to donate but can't afford those minimums you can send money to me through paypal. Just add a note what event you are donating to. Thanks.
