Wonderings
Have you ever watched horror films, especially the zombie, apocalyptic, or outer space genre? You know how, if the film's done right, you get that eerie moment of complete silence, like everything on the planet is dead. Just a really great horror moment of foreboding. Well, strangely I experienced that moment when walking back from the laundry earlier today. I have to walk outside to get to the laundry. And the dogs next door were missing, no birds were chirping, the air was still and for once there were no cars on the street. (I live on a kind of main street.) It lasted from when I left the laundry room almost until I got to the stairs to my apartment. At that moment a car came down the street. But for a brief moment I was expecting a zombie to reach for me through the fence, the moment was that perfect eerie, I know something is not right in the world moment. That was neat. Now if that had happened on Halloween night, that would have been cool and I would have been sleeping with the lights on. LOL. Yes, I am enjoying all the horror movies on TV right now since it's October. Happy Halloween week!!!!! (points to my vampire jack-o-lantern icon)
