Drive by "She Stoops" Post
So got back from the play.
Had fun. Saw many familiar faces. The play was pretty well done. Some kinks need to be worked out but it is just the first night. James did lose a script page at one point. He was searching for it while seated in the back waiting for his part. Thankfully he was able to borrow one and the play moved forward with only a slight pause. Rosalind Ayres is awesome, but that should be expected given her credits. And everyone was pretty darn good. LA Theatre Works assembles great casts. I can't wait to watch them get more comfortable with the material and each other with each performance.
After the performance James came out with Patricia briefly and thanked all of us for coming. Gave everyone a quick hug and took off. Wednesdays are the last day of rehearsals and the play itself. So it was a long day for all of them. I was surprised he came out at all given that.
