Oh man; I love Javamonkey.
I was sitting outside when this guy sat his stuff on the table beside me and asked me to watch it. Then when he came out he asked to bum a cigarette... anyway, we got to talking and had this huge like hour-long conversation about just about everything. He was so obviously desperate for attention, but he was a good conversationalist if you could get a word in edgewise. Anyways, he was a black guy, older, sounded like he was from Jamaica or somewhere around there. Homeless and obviously very world-wise, if a bit crazy. I had a blast talking to him- he knew a little bit about everything, it seemed. Anyways, I finally decided I didn't have the energy to keep up with his rapidly flapping mouth and left. But damn, that was fun. I think everyone else thought he was annoying, but I really did enjoy talking to him.
I don't really know how to describe this experience, but damn. I love Javamonkey for shit just like that.
