New things going on:
I haven't posted here since the update page was different...damn. Things have changed significantly over the past 3 months. I am now an employee of Sam Houston State U (as well as a student). I grade papers for the Astronomy courses and I teach a lab of PHY115 (a.k.a. Physics for Poets). Also doing an interesting research project with the Physics department. Some preliminary work to find the exact resolution of their telescope and to check if we can measure traversing extra-solar planets. Oh, and I'm going to a conference at Baylor U to listen to some guys talk about Solid State Experiments and Astronomy of quazars for 3 days. It makes me nervous, because there telescope is smaller than UGA's (so small!) Marcy is working for the San Jacinto Girl Scout Council, she's really happy that her commute is about 2 miles and I am around full time. Looking forward to a trip back to the Atlanta area early next year. I'm gonna fly out in January because Dr. Shaw f-ed me in the A with my transfer credit. I had to send a list of all the course listings, book titles and other info to the Physics department, because Shaw couldn't clear the courses in Physics, only astronomy. Typical, UGA got it's last shot in, Bravo. I have already started apps for Rice and University of Houston, and due to all the nice people I work for I will have no shortage of recomendations. Killer. Besides all this reality crap, my youngest brother gave me his N64 as a housewarming gift for my new apartment with Marcella. I have been diverting myself from real work with Majora's Mask. It's fun. I also have read all the Harry Potter books this month...just so I know what I am criticizing, of course. That's all. The students at SHSU pale in comparison to the crew I ran with at UGA. Though we do have Mario Kart in the Lab TA office. Zing!
