Yet another Stan

Well I'm outta Afgan, however I'm stuck in another former soviet block country that ends with a stan. I've got another day here before I get on a bird that heading back to NC. It's not to bad the wifi is plentiful here and well screw it living in a tent with 40 other dudes all be it stinky is tolarble for a few days as we hang out in a troop staging facility. I'll be home in a few days and cant wait to be able to spend time with Melissa and not be left to my own devices with limited entertainment. Talked to my old OIC when he was replacing us in KAF and pretty much the shop back home has been gutted we have a lot more deployments to man and I'm one of two CDQAR's that will be in the shop. So pretty much plan on going back out sooner rather then later, either a MEU to Africa or a MEU to Italy. I'm hoping for the Italy, I couldnt complain to much about being stuck in Sicily for 6 months. I know people that would pay good money for that. I spent two days there and wish I had more time a lot of things to do there. However, I'm not worrying about that I'm just looking forward to getting home appreciating the fact that I don't have to worry about a british lady saying rocket attack rocket attack and random hours of the night and I'll be able to take a bath and drink a beer(convently those two tasks can be accomplished at the same time) hug my wife and throw a ball for Diesel and Kodie to go chase after. Then go in to the shop raise holly hell and start training the Nembies on how to fix planes and get them ready to go out on the next one. Belive it or not deploying is one of the things I enjoy most about the Marine Corps and when I hang up the gun club suit I'll surely miss it.
