Thinking about using Dungeon Finder for the first time.

Greetings ladies and gents!

With all the PUG horror stories I've read here and in other WoW-related communities, runeshower and I are very wary of using the Dungeon Finder.

Despite this, I'm still curious.

My household is considering using dungeon finder for the first time.  In order to introduce a friend to WoW, the three of us decided to start another set of characters.  This time we decided to do a team of four NE Druids (currently three 18s and a 19).  My main is a Level 60 Dwarf Paladin Tank, and my secondary character is a Level 54 Night Elf Feral Druid.  This time I want to do something other than tanking.

As  result, I'm trying to train the other three in tanking.  runeshower is spec'ing Resto, our "hunter" and I are spec'ing Balance.  Our new person will be the Feral Tank.

Initially, we wanted to introduce him to Deadmines, our first instance but I'm thinking we're not ready, especially with only four players.  I'm wondering if it would be advisable to use the Dungeon Finder to find a fifth and tackle RFC.  It's a bit simpler than Deadmines for a first attempt, and the three of us have been there before with our Horde toons (our Three Hunters Experiment).  We three have done a number of instances, but almost exclusively as a party of three after the quests have gone green.  We've never worked with strangers in an instance before.

Do we have anything to worry about?  In a low level like this, would using in-game voice rather than Vent be a problem (we haven't had the need to set up a vent server yet)?

Any advice on how to prepare ourselves for the experience?  Any advice in herding cats through RFC?
