Three pairings I was thinking about having in a story I'm trying to write (it'd have multiple chapters). Steven Frost was from the UK show; he had white hair and was balding but had really black and bushy eyebrows? That's the one I was uncertain about, I don't think there's enough of a reason... ergh... Brad and him had a slashy skit of Quick Change, but beyond that they didn't really interact. I'd like for Brad to be paired with someone though, the poor man shouldn't be lonely :<
It's going to be--haha, you're not going to believe this--an AU where Ryan and Brad are roommates, Ryan works at a radio station up in Canada, and Colin and Wayne are... wait for this... figure skaters! Ryan meets Colin through Brad, and meets Gred and Wayne through Colin. It's pretty strange, I know, but I can envision it in my head now... yesssss.... Colin would be a Canadian figure skater (in terms of what country he'd compete for; otherwise, I mean, duh) with a French Canadian coach, and as such would speak French fluently... *melts* Wayne would probably be an American figure skater whose coach dragged him to Canada to meet with a coach about something or other. I'm thinking Colin, Ryan, Greg, and Brad will all be in early to mid twenties (not keeping the age gaps right because Colin the skater can't be too old) and Wayne... won't be legal.
I actually know very little about ice skating though, so any help with that aspect would be appreciated.
The plot in it, though... oh dear. That's where, as Brad would say, the ship hits the fan... I want to have Colin and Wayne in at least one competition, and I know specific scenes I want to have, but I can't fathom any problem for the story. The closest I've come to it is Ryan and Colin not originally liking each other (at all) and them growing closer through miny crises (including Ryan trying to and eventually skating for the first time... and falling. repeatedly.).
So, with the Brad/???, not knowing anything about figure skating, and no plot, I've got three problems on my hands.
I'd even pair Brad with Josie or Sandi, if I thought those pairings had any reason at all... arrrrghhh...
