Whoosh
Had a 5:15am call for an extras shoot on Knowing today (the latest Nicholas Cage film). I was a 1950s mum. So I accidentally set my alarm for 3:15 instead of 3:45, which while crappy is infinitely better than the other way around. Anyway, it was all made up for by having hair and make-up done. I could totally deal with having that done every day. Being trussed up in a girdle and tight skirt for some 13 hours was a bit of a bummer though. Then again, the look must be popular. There were a dozen of us "mums", and lots of kids, who with their real parents wanted pics with us. Felt like superstars sometimes. This once in particular in which we were all lined up posing next to a period car, and must have had a dozen cameras pointed at us at once. :)
Now I'm very tired, and somewhat sore. And I have a Neighbours job on Monday. At least this one's a bit part, and only a few hours. Starting late enough that chances are very good I'll be late for rehearsal. Oh dear.
